Customer Reviews:
"I truly enjoyed reading this poetry book from cover to cover. The author has done a remarkable job
putting together forty pages of reading that grips the heart. I especially liked a poem titled The Soldier." - Floria Kelderhouse
"Lynne C. Fadden's Behind the mask is a wonderful little chapbook containing poems from a young
woman who only recently began focusing seriously on her writing. The thing I enjoy most about Fadden's style is
her awesome use of imagery and her careful attention to great-sounding words to aptly express her messages.
Although her style is more free verse, I find it interesting how her poems are precisely balanced often in stanza
forms reminiscent of more traditional poetry. I love poetry that is meticulously patterned. To me this shows not
only an emotional but also an intellectual force behind the creative process. Such process is most noticeably
portrayed by her award-winning palindrome poem "Reflections" and other evocative pieces such as "Drowning
Fear," "Willow" and my favorite "Seaside Romance." I am glad that Fadden has now taken her debut in the world
of poetry." - Andrea Dietrich
