Customer Reviews:
"This is a lovely collection of poems by a carefully observant poet. The author takes the reader through a series
of family memories, re-imagining moments from her youth and marriage with a wry touch of both sadness and strength.
She tackles growing older head on, without false sentiment or grandiose statements. I particularly like her poems about
dogs. “Six Legs” meditates on the possible death of either human or pet. The last line says it all, without fanfare: ”leave
us only two, or four,” Like all her poems, Mary balances lightness and loss very well. Highly recommended." - Dee Cohen
"I've been savoring Mary Moore's new collection a bit at a time. I love having this selection of her
poems together, so beautifully (and intelligently) weaving together the witty (the laugh out loud), the poignant,
the deeply thoughtful, the so true to life- to your life and to ours." - Lucy Sallick
