Customer Reviews:
"In a word -- evocative. After every poem, I found myself pausing and reflecting on my thoughts
evoked by the poet's words. Excellent writing and imagery and an enlightening reading experience, Silhouette
& Shadow embraces your heart AND your mind." - Poppy Hullings
"Silhouttes & Shadows is a small gem of a book written by a woman who is also working
on a children's series of stories. Keleigh weaves her magic with a variety of themes ranging from those such
as personal growth, contentment, love and something as simple and graceful as a falling leaf (see the sample
poem above "Flight From a Tree") to the contrasting topics of insomnia's aggravation and the struggle with
childlessness, the latter being presented in an interestingly hopeful manner. I thorougly relished the inspiring
verse of Keleigh Lyn Girnas with my favorite poem from her chapbook being that which shares the chapbook's
title "Silhouttes & Shadows". - Andrea Dietrich
"I just finished reading the book called Silhouttes & Shadows. Every poem in that book touched
me in some way. I understood exactly what the author was saying. Please let me know if anything else
is published by that same author. It blew me away!" - Stacey Nichols
"My husband and I met Mrs. Girnas at a book reading/signing she did in Dallas for her children's book.
We have two young children who love her children's story. Mrs. Girnas was so great with the kids, and we asked
her if she had done any writing for adults. She told us about her poetry book. We loved it! The author creates
such imagery with her words! We hope to see more from this very talented author!" - Cynthia & Scott Fisher
"I can't remember the last time I read poetry that touched me like this book did. Great imagery. The author has an incredible way with words!" - Monica Benshoof
"I read this book because a friend of mine had purchased it. I do not normally read poetry, but this was
so touching that I couldn't stop reading it. I am going to order one for my daughter who will be going to college
this fall, and also one for my best friend. I hope she writes another book. This is poetry people can relate to
and remember!" - Carol Sisco
"Wow! The words drew me in and stayed with me long afterwards. My favorites are House of Cards and
Living Epitaph, but all the poems are worth reading and rereading." - Tina Bagley
"Just read some touching poems written by Ms. Girnas. My neighbor shared the book with me, and I
will be ordering one for myself, and also for family members and coworkers for the holidays. I read that the
author has also written stories for children. I have two young daughters and I am interested in books for them.
Please let the author know how much her work moved moved me." - Meryl Berkowitz
