• "Having received Dan's book, I was anxious to read it through, and did so in just a few days. This is such a lovely book. The pictures in it of Dan's family add so much to the sentimentality of the poetry. This is some of the best writing from this fine author. I just loved "No Reply," "Amidst Trembling Shadows," "The Four Of Them" (Dan's children), "My Leah," and if I go on then I will be repeating the entire book.
