The wind and I
The clouds are fleeing an angry wind
and a cold day begins
people hurry inside,
fearful, they are fleeing
him, who chases leaves and rain, not them
what does he know,
what does he care,
his mind is clear of all
their worries and pain
His kingdom is the endless air
where he reigns and roams
so free
he plays with my coat,
caresses my hair,
can he look inside me?
Mighty wind, you angry God,
please take with you my pain
tear it out of me with one big blow
never let me feel it again
Lift me up, to ride on your wings,
Let me feel your freedom!

The winds of time
The clouds are resting
on a sleepy sky
locked like lovers in
fleeting embrace
waiting for sleep
that never comes,
they keep moving,
drifting on the
winds of time which
carry you into yourself,
where strange faces stare
from inside the deep well
of murky waters,
someone gives you a broom,
every bristle a teacher,
to sweep it clean this heart;
sweat and brush until,
with the help of the winds
blowing forever patiently,
the ground shines like a mirror,
revealing a clear image
of your soul
some day

Written in the wind
Can you see the pictures in the sky?
Angels, dogs and snails,
boots, cars and potato pies -
Sometimes, a face looks down on me,
changing, fleeting, travelling
with the wind forever more,
whereto, we will never know,
until we discover where
the milky way goes,
why the moon cries
and how the sun smiles
When we can read our past
in the writing on the sky,
fading with the clouds at last,
and hear our final destiny
in the wind’s lonely melody
