Shadow Poetry

How long have you been writing poetry?: Since 1964.

What/Who inspires you to write?: Everything, all that I see, hear and feel is inspirational.

Favorite Quote or Motto: Six of one and half a dozen of another.

Writing Awards, Publications, and other Achievements: Latest one is 2nd and 3rd place in Shadow Poetry's Rhyme Time Poetry Contest. :) Poet of the Year 2002 - Poetry for Thought

Additional Poet Information: I once wrote a poem for the United Way Campaign at work. I wrote it only for those in my office to encourage donations after a long strike. It went over so well that, before I knew, it travelled to Ottawa and ended up being translated to a French Version and both versions were framed and put on the wall in the Boardroom for the Deputy Ministers of the Federal Government. That was my proudest moment because I had no idea it would go so far.
