How long have you been writing poetry?: Back when I met my wife, in 1976 I wrote off and on. But for the last 2 or 3 years I've sent or given cards out at least once a week. My 84 yr. old Mother says she has 130 or so.

What/Who inspires you to write?: People inspire me, feelings of others, troubles or happy feelings, to look around and to listen to the sounds around me; all of these have an influence on what I may write a poem about. I have not read very much poetry but I am familar with some. I'm looking forward to this new experience, it will be a learning one, this I am sure of.
